The Krkonoše mountains are the the highest mountains in the Czech Republic with a variety of beautiful natural landscapes. Besides hiking and mountain sports such as skiing and snowboarding in winter or cycling in summer, the Krkonoše Mountains are also an important area for the protection of nature. Being part of the Krkonoše National Park, it is home to many endemic plant and animal species. In the middle of it all: The Treetop Walk is located, which allows you to discover the diversity of this natural wonder in a completely new form.

Sněžka – the ropeway

Starting at the mountain town of Pec pod Sněžkou, you can comfortably reach the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, Sněžka, by cable car. Four-seater gondolas run from the Pec pod Sněžkou station (829 metres above sea level) via the Růžová hora station (1339 metres) until you reach the Sněžka station (1588 metres). The ride, which offers a breathtaking view of the Krkonoše forests, takes barely six minutes on the first section and a further eight minutes on the second.

The Relaxpark includes a number of attractions, especially in summer months. Adults with children two years and older can ride the 900-metre bobsleigh run or visit Lemuria – an amusement arena with slides, trampolines and an airborne castle. Meanwhile, for older children and adults, the FLY roller coaster offers some thrilling fun at a height of 15 metres.

The moor nature trail

The Černohorské moor nature trail is a comfortable, four-kilometre-long loop trail through a real wilderness, only 20 minutes of walking from the top station of the Černá Hora cable car. The Černohorské Moor has never been used by humans, its peat has been preserved for nature. It is therefore one of the very rare places in Central Europe where you might experience wild nature. Information boards tell you how the bog moves, as well as who kills it and for whom it is deadly. The trail follows forest paths and is inaccessible to wheelchair users.

Over an area of 10 hectares, the Miraculum Park in Milovice, Central Bohemia, offers its visitors an attractive range of recreational activities with creative playing elements. You will find a forest town and a petting zoo, giant trampolines and swings, zip lines, underground walkways, climbing frames, a marine world and, last but not least, a small steam train that connects the park with the next-door Tankodrom.

Spa Aquacentre and Wellness

In the centre of Janské Lázně there is a spa district in which the Spa Aquacentre with swimming pool and wellness invites you to relax each day. The thermal pool is filled with a warm mineral spring from a local natural healing source. It has water drapes, a counter-current system, massage and whirlpool loungers as well as indoor and outdoor whirlpools. Pure relaxation is guaranteed in the steam bath or one of the two Finnish saunas.
