The Krkonoše Tree Top Trail welcomes little visitors from kindergartens and grade and high schools.

We offer the best classroom right under the tree tops. Children can experience the taught subject all around them; they will learn to properly perceive nature and understand it. They will understand what makes a forest what it is, when it regenerates, what it can and cannot endure, what people must and mustn’t do to preserve it. Out of the large quantity of forest animals, the children will get to know the most interesting ones, including the much debated bark beetles and Cochlodina, a species of land snail you won’t find anywhere else in the world. Our program fits into the curriculum of all school levels.

Teachers will welcome the great number of information boards with both text and pictures that even the youngest children can understand. A totally unique experience awaits the children in the form of an underground exposition located under the main observation tower where they will see the entire root system of trees, soil composition and its living organisms.

There is trained Trail Staff who will help you with organization and other issues related to your visit to the Krkonoše National Park. There is also a restaurant on site.

Very large parties will be split into smaller groups (up to 30 persons), so you won’t miss anything from the guide’s explanation.
